Products catalogue Vidaplaster Gypsum Neat Plaster K5
Description:
Leveling coat for inner walls and ceilings which are made of concrete, aerated concrete or bricks. Suitable for both machine and manual application.
Application:
Leveling coat for inner concrete or brick walls. It can substitute mortar leveling coat and plaster ground coat. Once applied, the surface is ready for painting or wall-papering.
Preparation and Instruction for Use:
Leveling coat for machine and hand application for inner, air-concrete and walls and ceilings. In case of machine application, the dry material is mixed with clean water, the density being set by adjusting the machine controls.
Manual application: the solution is prepared in a mixer; to one pack of dry compound, add 15-16 liters of clean water. During mixing, it is recommended to use the entire pack at a time and see that the solution has reached high homogeneity. The laying of the coat can be done either by machine or manually and should be spread evenly across the surface. It is then leveled up with a lute at an average layer thickness from 3mm to 25 mm and is finally smoothed away.
The base surface should be even, compact, solid and load-resistant. Any shrinking processes should be complete before laying the compound. Furthermore, the base should have normal and evenly-spread moisture absorption qualities. In the course of applying VIDAPLASTER, the surface should be protected from direct sunlight and rain. If the base is made of concrete, preliminary priming is obligatory. The freshly laid coat should be prevented from dirt for at least 24 hours.
