Products catalogue Vidakol Adhesive For Floor, Wall Aand Porcelain Tiles K1
Description:
An ecological and innocuous product based on cement for applying wall and floor tiles, both in closed and open premises.
Application:
Used for sticking wall and floor tiles in closed or open premises.
Preparation and Instruction for Use:
The dry compound is added to a quantity of water, the ratio depending on the desired degree of solution density. Use an electrical stirrer until achieving a homogeneous mass. Apply VIDACOL K1 both on the base surface and on the back of each tile by using a toothed trowel with a tooth size of min. 8x8 mm. The tiles are fixed by leaving a maximum of 3 mm gaps between one tile to the next. Also, a 10 mm deformation gap should be left between the respective surface and the adjacent walls.
After fixing each tile, tap it with a rubber hammer in order to expel any air that may be left beneath. This is important since any cavities left beneath will greatly reduce the load-bearing capacity of the tiles and they could easily be broken when hit by heavy or solid objects.
The surface of the base should be solid, dry and even, with no dry cement or sand particles on it, without any sooty or greasy spots, and with good load resistance.
